The Bolo pattern, classy and bold, suits everyday as well as formal dining occasions. This 42-piece set includes eight five-piece place settings and a large serving fork and spoon. Made of 18/8 stainless steel, the flatware features satin-finish handles and lightly polished business ends.

This set includes eight of each of the following: 9-1/4-inch dinner knife, 7-3/4-inch dinner fork, 7-3/4-inch soup spoon, 6-1/2-inch teaspoon, and 7-1/4-inch salad fork. Rounding off the collection is the hostess set, featuring a 9-inch three-tined serving fork for cold meats and a 9-inch generously proportioned serving spoon. The handsomely balanced knives feature superior one-piece construction with hollow handles and high-carbon cutlery steel edges. While Yamazaki approves the use of a dishwasher for cleaning the flatware, the company recommends against dishwashing compounds that contain lemon and suggests drying the flatware by hand to prevent spotting. Yamazaki covers the set with a lifetime warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri
